The Chobani National Account Manager will lead, manage and develop retail business for our Walmart customer. This role is responsible for the strategic leadership directing product compliance, sales team execution and exceptional business management skills, P&L management, and return on investment for Customer. Through joint planning, this role will project sales, drive volume, and establish in-field execution to exceed our retail customers’ expectations and represent the Chobani brand as nothing but good.
Responsibilities
• Support the Director of Sales in the development and execution of the annual Walmart account strategy aligned to company sales, profit, and distribution objectives.
• Lead day-to-day management of the Walmart business including assortment, pricing, promotions, forecasting alignment, and performance tracking.
• Develop, analyze, and deliver fact-based selling materials for line reviews, category reviews, and joint business planning meetings.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Walmart merchant, replenishment, and operations teams in partnership with the Director of Sales.
• Analyze Scintilla, syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen), and internal financial reporting to identify growth opportunities, risks, and performance gaps.
• Translate consumer, shopper, customer, and competitive insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure excellence in execution of new item launches, promotions, and seasonal programs.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast accuracy, in-stock performance, and OTIF metrics to proactively address supply risks.
• Prepare financial models and business cases to support pricing, promotional, and assortment recommendations.
• Improve reporting processes, communication cadence, and internal workflows to enhance visibility and speed of decision making.
• Stay informed on Walmart strategies, category priorities, scorecards, and operational updates to proactively support the business.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer strategy within the CPG industry.
• Experience managing or supporting a major national retail account; Walmart experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success driving sales growth, improving profitability, and executing customer business plans.
• Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Scintilla, Circana, Nielsen, and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Walmart systems, scorecards, replenishment processes, and category management principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
• Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
• Willingness to travel

The salary range for this full-time position is $95,000.00 - $150,700.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
