Chobani’s Category Analysts work with category, consumer, and shopper insights data to create a clear direction for the category that aligns customer and Chobani strategies. As a key member of the sales team, this role helps drive company sales and profits and gains advantage over competitors by interpreting strategic insights and developing valuable tools/programs to drive increased performance for designated brands in the foodservice channel.

Responsibilities

  • Role will be part of the Away From Home team playing a key role in providing analytical support for customers within the AFH channel
  • Update and improve dashboards, templates, and processes that enable the team to improve efficiency in performing their job requirements
  • Provide necessary summaries and important trend updates to key internal team members
  • Deliver strategic and tactical recommendations that improve overall category performance
  • Develop content for customer specific presentations that include relevant consumer insights, analysis of the competitive landscape, and new item/category selling resources
  • Provide ongoing trend analysis (business performance and drivers) to seize value-creating opportunities that improve overall category performance or to correct category issues as needed
  • Contribute to the customer planning cycle by providing knowledge of category and industry trends, competitive issues, and assortment opportunities
  • Interpret category sales data into clear insights to inform cross-functional teams of trends
  • Complete other tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years consumer packaged goods or category management experience
  • Strong and proven leadership skills preferred
  • Strong cross-functional exposure / experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities/projects at once
  • Ability to learn reporting systems such as Circana and Nielsen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel
  • AFH channel experience preferred

Compensation Range: $59,000.00 - $89,000.00, plus bonus.
