Chill Tunnel Coordinator - Grade 6 - A Shift - 6:00AM - 6:30PM, Every Other Weekend Required

Summary
The Chill Tunnel Coordinator position plays a key role in the transport of our finished goods to the cold warehouse via pallet conveying and elevator. The primary function of this position is to enhance functionality of the Chill Tunnel by being the primary point of contact for communication and tracking of issues with Production, Maintenance, Automation and the P.I. Team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor proper chill tunnel operation from the packaging building to cold warehouse.
- Identify and marshal resources to help with restacking, cleaning
- Guide maintenance to the correct areas of concern that need repair
- Must understand and use HMI screens to operate all functions of chill tunnel system
- Assist with maintenance tasks and training operators on functionality of HMI controls and proper usage of the pendants
- Understand and perform proper sequencing of conveyors as needed
- Supervise the work of Chill Tunnel Operators in Chill Tunnel
- Monitor and communicate any potential mechanical issues with all tunnel equipment
- Clearing jams or stuck pallets (with assistance from documented chill tunnel trained employee)
- Clean up/restack dumped pallets (with assistance from documented chill tunnel trained employee)
- General housekeeping of entire chill tunnel
- Fill in on Fork Truck as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follow Chobani safety procedures
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for accurate reporting and team coordination.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues in the Chill Tunnel
- Able to lift 50lbs

The salary range for this full-time position is $25.50 - $33.50, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
