Summary

The Dairy Data Processor is responsible for collecting and verifying data related to raw milk, cream and ultra filtered milk, utilizing tools to analyze trends and prepare reports. This role will be hybrid with regular travel to our plant in Upstate, NY as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and gather data from incoming raw milk and ultra filtered milk, as well as outgoing cream records including BOL’s, weight tickets, quality test documents, and receiving and unloading documents.
  • Communicate, daily, with our raw milk Co-Ops, ultra-filtered milk suppliers, and our cream buyers, while balancing and settling all the weights.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the collected data by cross-checking source documents and verifying established business standards.
  • Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel to enter, organize, and analyze data. Identify trends, patterns, and potential issues in the data to inform decision makers so that operations can be improved.
  • Craft and prepare reports and summaries based on the processed data, providing insights to the Processing and Quality teams.
  • Work with NYS Agriculture & Market auditors while maintaining the integrity and security of the dairy data, ensuring compliance and accuracy with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other dairy personnel, including Production Managers, Quality Control staff and Dairy Analysts, to ensure proper data flow and effective decision making.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required, college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with accounting and previous dairy background preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain priorities to complete assignments by deadlines without detailed instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as S.A.P.
  • Excellent people skills with positive, customer-orientation combined with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline driven and extremely rapidly changing environment.
  • Initiative-taking, self-directed and operates with minimal supervision.

Compensation Range: $25.50 - $33.50, plus bonus.
