Job Title: Materials Manager

Summary: At Chobani our materials Manager is responsible for the implementation of an effective, business-wide program to optimize material flow and delivery of materials to our manufacturing sites. The Materials Manager will develop strategies to maintain established inventory levels that support business objectives while ensuring internal & external customer satisfaction goals are met. The Materials Manager is responsible for making continuous and significant improvements in materials planning.

The responsibilities of this position include:
•Manage ongoing materials planning for Chobani’s manufacturing sites based on forecasts, utilization rates, productivity assumptions and any strategic sales programs or events
•Evaluate and execute product specific fulfillment strategies assuring appropriate cross-function and business engagement.
•Establish optimized inventory targets, replenishment processes and materials flows at Chobani’s manufacturing sites to achieve our service level, efficiency and productivity goals
•Plan production across all value streams as part of the Sales & Operations Planning process to properly align site goals and priorities of service level and operational efficiencies
•Monitor production capacities and inventory levels daily (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) while communicating throughout the organization to ensure sufficient stock is available to manufacture scheduled product
•Utilize demand plan and customer order schedules to balance available capacity and material
•Analyze and track inventory levels of all raw materials utilized at manufacturing sites
•Manage the purchasing and procurement of raw materials and other manufacturing related goods
•Categorize suppliers to assure proper oversight and daily management, leverage with Procurement and alignment with Supplier Quality
•Manage the tracking and reduction of inventory waste associated with raw and packaging material transitions

The requirements of this position include:
•Bachelor's degree required
•5-10 years materials leadership experience with demonstrated track record of significant performance improvement
•Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within established deadlines
•Experience using and specifying planning, inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality
•SAP experience a must
•Functional certification, such as APICS, CSCMP or comparable, is preferred
•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
•Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
•Willingness to travel 30%

Compensation Range: $83,200.00 - $124,800.00, plus bonus.
