Summary

The People Team Talent Development Manager will support the talent management strategy for our plant leadership and all employees and is designed to advance, support, engage and retain employees.  In addition, you will lead the design, execution and data collection of initiatives focused on core skills and functional/ role-based development.  The top candidate will possess strong business partnership, organizational and communication skills, knowledge of recruiting, and a proven track record of maintaining meticulous organization in a fast-paced environment.   This position will be an onsite position in a Manufacturing setting with some flexibility for hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

•    In partnership with the corporate Talent Acquisition team, develop the recruitment pipeline for hourly current and future roles through creative recruiting programs and initiatives including leveraging employee and candidate referrals, social media, networking events, targeted outreach, and professional associations. Focus on creating relationships with local schools and universities to build talent pipelines with diverse perspectives and experiences and providing an exceptional hiring experience for all candidates and future employees. 
•    Oversee the HR Coordinator’s responsibilities for all hourly recruiting efforts.  Work with hiring managers to define hiring needs and create/update job descriptions as required.  Partner with the training team to create a sustainable and scalable approach to new hire orientation and assimilation.
•    Align efforts to business initiatives designed to improve the workplace through diversity and inclusion, continuous improvement, organizational design, talent management and training and development.  
•    Support candidates throughout all stages of the hiring process and ensure a positive candidate experience. Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to understand hiring forecasts and recruiting priorities and to fill critical hiring needs in a timely manner. 
•    Evaluate external labor market conditions and trends to develop recruiting strategies and initiatives.  Find opportunities to improve the candidate's experience through automation, process improvement, and exceptional communication.  Assist in facilitating the firm’s performance management process (e.g., 90-day feedback, semi-annual reviews, upward feedback) in collaboration with the calibration committees and professional development colleagues.
•    Coordinate talent development efforts for plant leadership as well as participate on corporate strategy projects related to talent and leadership development.  Work closely with the People team to ensure they have all the information they need to onboard new hires.   
•    Create, generate and maintain weekly progress scorecards and reports on trends in hiring, time to fill, open position and other data as required. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
 

Requirements

•    Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence all levels of the organization, third party partners and potential candidates; able to build trust in others based on knowledge and expertise.
•    Self-motivated individual who is driven to support team success 
•    Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions. 
•    Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. 
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and results oriented. Heightened attention to detail and data accuracy. Flexible and thrives in a constantly evolving environment. Must have strong organizational and project management skills to meet multiple priorities and deadlines. 
•    Solid team player, consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication. 
•    Demonstrate a willingness to learn, implement new processes and work independently.
Experience: 
•    The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting and/or human resources.   Training experience is preferred.  
•    MS Office expertise (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and MS Teams). 
•    Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
•    Avid user of social networking tools.

Compensation Range: $92,000.00 - $138,000.00, plus bonus.
