Summary

We are actively searching for a dynamic and motivated individual with a proven track record in engineering and project management, particularly within manufacturing or industrial environments. The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in a field related to Manufacturing or Industrial engineering programs. 

As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Operations, while also collaborating extensively across functions. The ability to thrive in a team setting is crucial, as you'll be working closely with colleagues from various departments. 

The successful candidate should demonstrate strong skills in self-sufficiency, analytics, time management, and communication. The reporting manager will provide direction and assign projects based on business needs, mostly, emphasizing optimization, increased efficiency, and driving productivity improvements. The Process Engineer will assume direct responsibility for the complete execution of assigned projects and meeting established deadlines.
 

Responsibilities

•    Manage and lead projects as assigned by the reporting manager. 
•    Facilitate meetings as needed pertaining to assigned projects. Clearly communicate project goals, timelines, and results to all stakeholders.
•    Participate in other meetings as requested, being a resource to the plant by acting as a Processing subject matter expert. 
•    Manage or participate in all phases of an assigned project from start to finish. Projects may require facilitation of project proposals, assessing effects on production scheduling during installation, scheduling the work, and commissioning of equipment or process changes.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Safety, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
•    Implement data collection and analysis methods to measure the success of process improvement initiatives. Audit all process changes to ensure initiative sustainability. 
•    Utilize data-driven insights to identify department bottlenecks, and areas of opportunity for increasing capacity and total throughput. 
•    Continuously evaluate and streamline workflows to reduce waste and achieve cost savings.
•    Continuously look for ways to implement innovative technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement throughout the process. 
•    Submit project requests with a clear summary of the project scope, cost, and associated ROI, using proper analytic data for reasoning behind proposed changes. 
•    Ensure to modify various drawings, including P&IDs, and Process Flow Diagrams throughout all working projects. 

Requirements


•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, relative to Manufacturing or Industrial engineering programs.  
•    1-5 years of experience in a similar engineering role.
•    Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
•    Proficient in using engineering software and tools for process simulation, modeling, and analysis.
•    Proficient in collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data. Must be able to present and speak to it. 
•    Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, while following all company PPE requirements. Expect to spend most of your time on your feet, interacting within the operation.

Compensation Range: $73,600.00 - $110,400.00, plus bonus.
