Quark KDB Coordinator - Grade 6 - B Shift - 6:00AM - 6:30PM, Every Other Weekend Required

Summary

We are seeking someone skilled and experienced in KDB that will play a key role in coordinating KDB operations. This role requires someone with leadership, excellent communication, and organization skills. The KDB Coordinator will bring the team together and ensure operational excellence. The primary focus of this role will be on owning safety of self and co-workers, producing product within specification, minimizing product waste, and strengthening and sustaining communication between Processing and Production.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to KDB Operators, fostering a motivated team environment.
  • Conduct thorough training for all new KDB Operators, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of operational procedures. Further continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Lead improvements and implement initiatives within KDB. Remain positive through change and encourage team members to do the same.
  • Lead Greek Yogurt (GY) operations with a focus on improving efficiency and capacity. Ensure proper filler pairing for optimized production.
  • Help bridge communication gaps between the KDB department and production, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout shifts.
  • Help ensure proper use of Quadbeam control to improve KDB efficiencies.
  • Ensure CIP execution for all KDB’s and associated equipment. Lead KDB rotation to ensure the next shift is set up to continue running well.
  • Coordinate with team to ensure working areas are clean and organized throughout entire shift.
  • Coordinate KDB teardowns, working with maintenance to complete work.
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out accurately and reviewed at the end of each shift. Maintain a high standard of documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Provide coverage on shift as needed, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
  • Assist Lead and Supervisor with managing breaks on the KDB team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a production environment. Experience in KDB is a plus.
  • Mechanical skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-sufficiency, motivation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong focus on improving operational efficiencies.
  • Commitment to training and development.
  • Complete other tasks as needed

The salary range for this full-time position is $25.50 - $33.50, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
