Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Reporting & Insights Manager to support our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence (BI), data analysis, and reporting, with hands-on experience in Power BI and SQL. This role will require a proactive problem solver who can thrive in ambiguous environments and work across multiple workstreams. Your insights will directly impact decision-making, efficiency, and problem-solving within our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide actionable insights into manufacturing processes and business performance.
- Leverage SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support ad hoc and recurring reporting needs.
- Use data visualization techniques to effectively present findings to business leaders and stakeholders.
Partnership & Collaboration:
- Partner with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to identify and address critical business challenges.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into effective data solutions and reports.
Data Modeling & Optimization:
- Implement and maintain DBT (Data Build Tool) models to streamline data processing and reporting workflows (preferred but not required).
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of data architecture to support scalable analytics solutions.
Problem Solving & Decision Support:
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis to drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency and overall business performance.
- Work on multiple projects in parallel, managing priorities effectively in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
Presentation & Communication:
- Synthesize complex data into clear, concise presentations and recommendations for leadership teams.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics, preferably in a manufacturing or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment.
- Proficiency in Power BI and other BI tools for report creation and visualization.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience with DBT modeling is a plus.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle ambiguous challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights and recommendations clearly to various stakeholders.
- Experience working in manufacturing or CPG industries (preferred).
- Knowledge of supply chain and production processes is a plus.
- Occasional travel to our plants to gain insights into processes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation Range: $112,000.00 - $168,000.00, plus bonus.
