As Creative Director, you are the steward of Chobani’s voice, storytelling, and creative expression. You set the standard for breakthrough, brand-building work that is culturally relevant, emotionally resonant, and strategically grounded. You bring both bold creative ambition and sharp business acumen ensuring that every idea ladders back to brand, growth, and long-term equity.

This role blends high-level creative vision with hands-on leadership. You will guide and mentor writers and designers, partner closely with Strategy, Marketing, Innovation, and Production, and champion creative excellence across every touchpoint.

Responsibilities

Creative Vision & Leadership

  • Define and evolve Chobani’s creative vision, voice, and storytelling standards across all channels
  • Lead the development of brand platforms, integrated campaigns, and culturally relevant ideas that build long-term brand equity
  • Set a high bar for craft, originality, and strategic alignment across all creative output
  • Ensure consistency and cohesion of brand expression across packaging, retail, digital, social, content, innovation, and experiential

 

Strategic Partnership

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Strategy, Innovation, and cross-functional leadership to shape briefs and ensure creative solutions solve real business challenges
  • Translate technical, scientific, and nutrition-driven concepts into powerful, accessible brand narratives
  • Ensure all creative work is insight-driven, on-brief, and aligned to business objectives

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire writers, designers, and cross-functional creative partners
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback that elevates the work and grows creative talent
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and creative ambition
  • Identify resource needs and build scalable creative processes to support growth

 

Executional Excellence

  • Oversee creative from concept through production and post-production, ensuring the vision is executed at the highest level
  • Review and refine work across formats including campaigns, packaging, manifests, scripts, digital, social, retail, and content
  • Lead presentations and confidently articulate creative rationale to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strategic focus

 

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of creative experience (agency or in-house), with experience leading teams
  • Proven track record of developing breakthrough, brand-building campaigns and platforms
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with a distinctive creative perspective
  • Experience leading integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Strong understanding of strategy and ability to connect creative ideas to business impact
  • Experience translating complex or technical subject matter into compelling consumer narratives
  • Production experience across shoots, content creation, and integrated campaigns
  • Confident, persuasive presenter with executive-level communication skills
  • Experience in CPG or food & beverage brands strongly preferred
  • Collaborative, visionary, and solutions-oriented leader with high creative standards

The salary range for this full-time position is $140,000.00 - $220,000.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
