The Director of Ops Excellence will serve as the single point of contact for tracking supply to shelf end-to-end, ensuring seamless operations from Muskegon to LC PB/IPSO, and ultimately to the shelf with in-stocks. This role involves developing a comprehensive tool and reporting suite that integrates KDP sales data, store-level data, field execution sales and inventory data. The Director of Ops Excellence will manage daily business operations with KDP, including order management, forecasting, and inventory, while identifying gaps and operational needs. This role’s leadership will be critical as we stand up new proprietary capabilities and work directly with KDP to develop tight operational planning, execution and reporting. 

Responsibilities

•    Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, KDP, IPSO, Brand Sales, and Field Execution, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This will include acting as the LC lead for weekly Supply Chain connects with KDP.
•    Track and manage the supply chain from Muskegon to LC PB/IPSO to the shelf, ensuring product availability and in-stocks.
•    Work closely with LC Sr Manager Sales Capabilities to develop and implement a tool and reporting suite that consolidates KDP, LC PB/IPSO, store-level data, field execution, in-store sales and inventory data.
•    Manage daily business operations with KDP, including order management, forecasting, and inventory management.
•    Identify gaps and operational needs and develop strategies to address them.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in operations.
•    Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in operations.
•    Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on operational performance and initiatives.

Requirements

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
•    Proven 5+ year’s experience in operations management, preferably within the CPG industry and with DSD.
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop, implement and enhance effective reporting tools.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
•    Proficiency in order management, forecasting, and inventory management.
•    Ability to identify operational gaps and develop strategies to address them.
•    Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Skills:
•    Experience working with DSD partners and managing end-to-end supply chain operations.
•    Familiarity with data analysis tools and software.
•    Highly proficient in use of Excel.
•    Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in supply chain management.

Compensation Range: $148,000.00 - $222,000.00, plus bonus.
