Summary

The Business Process Manager – Quality and R&D Systems is responsible for promoting IT services and solutions as well as industry best practices, by managing internal client relationships with our Corporate Quality Team at Chobani’s dairy processing plants. Reporting to the Director of IT Business Process Integration, this role is responsible for managing the demand for both IT services addressing small to mid-sized projects, as well as IT assistance addressing daily support needs of mission critical quality control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Corporate Quality and Research and Development departments to scope, co-design and deploy strategic IT solutions
  • Provide IT subject matter expertise for the Corporate Quality and R&D departments
  • Provide Corporate Quality and R&D subject matter expertise for the IT organization
  • Effectively maintain business partner relationships at a senior level and operational level
  • Coordinate with R&D, Regulatory, Engineering, QA and QC departments to collect and document user requirements for future state R&D and Regulatory processes
  • Seek continuous feedback on performance of technologies utilized by Corporate Quality and R&D departments (SAP QM, SAP PLM, and LabVantage)
  • Support the integration of the quality processes into cross functional IT areas to ensure that solutions implement best practices around track and trace for batch managed ingredients and products
  • Support the tools and systems in support of the R&D Concept to Launch process within the ERP system
  • Have a complete knowledge and understanding of the business processes and data flows for Corporate Quality and R&D within Chobani
  • Educate business and Chobani IT on industry best practices for Corporate Quality and R&D area
  • Guide business on improving Chobani processes via implementation of best practices, automation, and digitization
  • Prioritize and scope enhancements/projects for Corporate Quality and R&D dept
  • Gather business requirements and draft scope for potential solutions
  • Collaborate with IT technical resources on designing the solution 
  • Ensure that the solutions designed for the business is extendable and scalable across Chobani’s landscape
  • Present the possible solutions and obtain consensus from the key stake holders 
  • Ensure testing has been completed and solutions delivered are performing as per the solution design
  • Create/Review all the test scripts for project/enhancements
  • Responsible for ensuring the success of changes by partnering with the business on training and change management efforts
  • Collaborate with the other IT functions on project prioritization.
  • Evaluate and create a plan to ensure sufficient resources for any new solution or redesign
  • Act as a PM for smaller projects
  • Look for opportunities to drive continuous improvement through system and/or process changes
  • Provide support to mission critical applications that capture quality information throughout Chobani’s receiving and production processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Associates Degree in Computer Science with 5 years appropriate work experience at minimum required
  • Minimum of 6 years of total work-experience, with 5 years working within Corporate Quality processes and/or systems, in areas such as Non-compliance, CAPA, Audit Management, Documentation Compliance and Supplier Management, preferred
  • 3-4 years of business management within a quality environment (e.g. laboratory or equivalent), preferred
  • 2-3 years of IT Project Management experience, with focus on requirements, solution testing and roll-out, preferred;
  • 2-3 years of working in batch-controlled Consumer Packaged Goods and/or dairy food manufacturing, is preferred
  • Experience in supporting Enterprise Quality Management Systems, such as SAP QM, EtQ, Master Control or Intelex, and Laboratory Management Systems (LIMS) such as LabVantage, is preferred
  • Experience working with quality management modules within an ERP system, is preferred
  • Experience working with recipe and specification management modules within an ERP system, is preferred
  • Experience in all aspects of regulatory labeling and document control and associated software (such as BarTender, LabVantage and EtQ), is preferred
  • Experience in working within ‘release managed’ IT environment with ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA and/or Service Now) and structured testing tools such as HP Quality Center or JIRA, is preferred
  • Experience providing quality deliverables such as (but not limited to): Business Requirements Document, Test Plans, Test Scripts and Training Documentation is required
  • Experience in managing support contracts with vendors
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams
  • Experienced at report preparation and summarizing management information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence key decision makers
