Summary
The Government Affairs Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life professional experiences and utilize modern skillsets within the field(s) they are currently pursuing a degree. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience analyzing policy (at the federal and state levels), conducting stakeholder engagement, and working with advocacy experts to craft compelling external narratives.
Responsibilities
• Review relevant company-wide data and activities across all business functions
• Develop external narratives and initiatives aligned with the team’s goals
• Partner and learn from industry experts with a focus on hunger and nutrition among other topics.
• Help identify and enhance stakeholder relationships to support our causes
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in a related field
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
• Interest in the consumer-packaged goods or food and beverage industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
• Ability to be on-site in our Manhattan, NY office up to 4 days a week
