Summary:
Chobani’s Materials Analyst is a critical team member that drives productivity by ensuring proper materials inventory levels to support optimal production schedules.  The role provides leadership the visibility of the materials management process to ensure smooth supply chain operations.  
The responsibilities of this position include:
•    Manage inventory planning and ordering to ensure material availability, premium freight, surplus and obsolete, and inventory turn goals are met.
•    Review delivery performance (On-Time, In-Full), demand history, and other data to recommend SAP material planning and forecast setting changes to meet department goals.
•    Interface with suppliers, production, customer service, engineering, quality, and corporate procurement to communicate and resolve material availability issues.
•    Analyze and coordinate material movement from purchasing to production, ensuring proper inventory levels at all times
•    Report scrap data analysis to leadership, and drive material transition processes to meet zero waste goals
•    Define and follow up on materials management indicators and targets for the team.
•    Participate in the identification and implementation of material planning strategies, and cost saving initiatives
•    Analyze operating results and report weakness and variances from standard operating procedures.
•    Create and provide updates on required resources to ensure cost, inventory, service and production levels are consistent with operational objectives.
•    Develop and recommend best practices for the material flow systems and procedures
•    Collaborate with all involved departments to monitor and alert critical inventory levels
•    Develop and implement processes to reduce material overages/shortages
•    Determine proper inventory levels and successfully manage supplies for production plan
•    Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure all company expectations are met
•    Coordinate the movement of materials between sites, storage and vendors
•    Communicate the most efficient and effective use of transportation of materials

The requirements of this position include:
•    High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred
•    3-5 years of related work experience in packaging materials and goods
•    Experience required in use of SAP Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
•    Inventory management skills
•    Excellent organizational skills
•    Proficiency with MS Office with strong MS Excel skills
•    Creative, quality and results-driven work ethic.
•    Able to work independently, and collaboratively in a team
•    Needs to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
•    Ability to travel <10% of the time

Compensation Range: $58,000.00 - $87,000.00, plus bonus.
