Summary
The People Team Manager will be accountable for the successful management and integration of employee programs in the areas of employee relations, recruiting, talent development, performance management, internal communication, training and development, and employee engagement. The individual in this position will work closely with direction from the People Team Director, departmental leadership and the People team to create a positive environment and an empowered workforce.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent HR Business Partner collaboration and HR support to some of Chobani’s most dynamic teams including New Product Development, Communications, R&D, Labs, and our Café location based in Soho.
- Align HR programs to business initiatives designed to improve the workplace through diversity and inclusion, continuous improvement, organizational design, talent management, and training and development.
- Administer Employee Recognition system (Bonusly) including monitoring employee usage, administering rewards and processing PO's associated with prizes and other incentives.
- Implement and execute HR programs such as performance management, compensation planning, resource planning, and employee engagement
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, identify the root cause and determine the best course of action by consulting with internal and external legal counsel as needed
- Develop proactive communications to support HR programs and maintain excellent communication with assigned groups
- Support employee recognition programs and plan/organize employee team building activities
- Maintain accurate and complete personnel records and electronic data. Ensure that appropriate rules concerning confidentiality and retention are followed
- Foster a results-oriented culture through effective coaching and implementation of performance management process and tools
- Partner with colleagues to ensure consistency in program frameworks and implementation
- Navigate and manage matrixed relationships within the plant and with other locations/functional areas
- Interview and screen candidates for positions under assigned groups
- Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or Associates Degree with equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of HR Generalist experience, experience in a CPG environments a plus
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, complex environment with a critical sense of urgency and focus on customer service
- Excellent communication, team building and interpersonal skills
- Resourceful, flexible, and with a strong work ethic
- Practical, well-rounded knowledge in the major human resources areas and in government compliance
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office and HRIS systems, Success Factors preferred

Compensation Range: $84,000.00 - $126,000.00, plus bonus.
