Summary

The Program Manager (Events Focus) is responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing and creative programs centered around large-scale events, such as tradeshows and sampling events. This role manages the entire process from brief to delivery, including testing, budgeting, project planning, creative development, design, production, delivery, and analysis. The Program Manager delivers full funnel marketing and always-on programs, manages event vendors, negotiates vendor contracts, and optimizes cross-functional team (XFT) processes. 

Responsibilities

Project Management:
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of event marketing projects, including tradeshows and experiential activations.
Develop project plans, including SOWs, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee budgeting and fiscal management, including cost negotiations and spend tracking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with brand development teams to ensure integrated production and communication for events.
Maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to understand business needs.
Play the centralized operations role for event marketing programs, mediating between creative and logistics to optimize event execution.

Vendor and Resource Management:
Select and manage vendors in collaboration with Creative and Marketing teams.
Negotiate vendor contracts, including fees, staffing, scope, and deliverables.
Manage resource planning and allocation for each event project.

Process Optimization and Quality Assurance:
Lead process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Identify and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans.
Ensure quality of deliverables and maintain process integrity.
Oversee production to ensure high standards and identify improvement opportunities.

Leadership and Continuous Improvement:
Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
Conduct performance reviews and build team culture.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 3-4 years experience in project management at a creative agency or in-house marketing team, or a combination of education and 5+ years of experience in project management at a creative agency or in-house marketing team 
Proven track record of delivering large-scale events and experiential marketing programs.
Expertise in event planning, production, and execution.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
Understanding of cross-functional teams and their objectives.
Experience with resource management tools and financial tracking systems.

Compensation Range: $84,000.00 - $126,000.00, plus bonus.
