Summary
Chobani Information Technology is seeking a highly technical and experienced SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Lead to design, configure, and deliver procurement solutions within our SAP S/4HANA landscape. This role is focused on hands-on functional solution development within SAP and is not positioned as the primary business liaison.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across SAP S/4HANA P2P processes and configuration options, with a proven ability to prototype solutions in non-production environments, demonstrate system capabilities to stakeholders, and lead those solutions through the full SDLC into production. This role will be a key technical influencer, helping business users understand SAP-native solution options and guiding decision-making through demonstrated system functionality.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical functional lead for Procure-to-Pay processes within SAP S/4HANA, owning solution design and configuration execution.
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA P2P solutions, including:
- Requisition-to-Purchase Order workflows
- Purchase Orders, Contracts, and Scheduling Agreements
- Goods Receipt and Service Entry Sheets
- Invoice Verification, including 2-way and 3-way matching
- Vendor and procurement-related master data
- Maintain deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA P2P capabilities, configuration options, and standard functionality to guide solution design and prevent unnecessary customization.
- Build and configure solutions in non-production environments (sandbox, development, QA) to:
- Demonstrate solution options to business and IT stakeholders
- Validate feasibility of proposed process changes
- Support informed decision-making through working system examples
- Lead solutions through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including:
- Functional configuration and documentation
- Test planning and execution (SIT, UAT support)
- Defect resolution and solution refinement
- Cutover preparation and go-live readiness
- Partner closely with ABAP, integration, security, and Basis teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP P2P, influencing business users by clearly articulating:
- SAP standard capabilities and constraints
- Available solution patterns and tradeoffs
- Best-fit approaches aligned with enterprise standards
- Support continuous improvement of existing P2P solutions, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve controls, and enhance system usability.
- Ensure delivered solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with Chobani’s enterprise architecture and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, with deep focus on Procure-to-Pay.
- Demonstrated experience configuring SAP S/4HANA P2P solutions across multiple procurement and invoice processing workflows.
- Strong functional expertise in:
- SAP Materials Management (MM)
- Procurement and Vendor Management
- Invoice Verification and FI integration
- Proven experience building and demonstrating SAP solutions in non-production environments.
- Experience delivering SAP functionality through structured SDLC processes into production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system design skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Ariba or third-party procurement and invoice automation tools.
- Experience working in complex, multi-entity or global SAP landscapes.
- Exposure to manufacturing, CPG, or food & beverage environments.
- SAP S/4HANA Procurement certification(s) a plus.
- Experience supporting ECC to S/4HANA upgrades or large-scale SAP transformations.

The salary range for this full-time position is $130,500.00 - $243,500.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
