Summary
The Senior Communications Manager, Events will allow us to have better visibility on the event landscape at large across impact, leadership, CPG, brand, etc, better understand where our competitors are showing up, and will also enable us to have a dedicated resource for inbound event/speaking requests at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that our event assets are amplified to expand the reach post participation and facilitate any needed follow ups, creating more seamless execution
- Communicate with all vendors and suppliers before, during and after the event
- Make sure events are in-line with company branding and strategy
- Lead promotional activities for the event
- Work with and manage staff for events
- Own a corporate calendar of external participation
- Ensure events run without issue and deal with any problems that may arise
- Analyze the event’s success and report on findings
- Engage with event coordinators on the logistics and execution plans
- Develop briefing materials
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Communications or related field preferred
- 8+ years working experience, in executive / corporate communications in global, impact driven positions.
- Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Comfort with and experience counseling and supporting C-Suite leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, with a strong understanding of messaging and reputation management
- Effective project and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Trustworthy and credible; high level of integrity and excellent sense of judgment
- Ability to understand and bring diversity and inclusion into work
- Strong people, influencing and relationship skills built in a complex, fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $118,400.00 - $177,600.00, plus bonus.
