Summary
The Creative Director, Experience Design will lead the design, storytelling, and curation of new and immersive experiences for Chobani and La Colombe, incl. experiential retail & hospitality concepts, major tradeshows, pop-ups, seasonal activations, customer experience center, public events, specialty projects, and experiential activations.
This role will champion human imagination, innovation and storytelling, while ensuring engaging, and impactful interactions that align with the company’s brand and business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with a hands-on approach to creating world-class immersive experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of strategic thinking, storytelling, imagination, cultural curiosity, love for food, and physical-digital design expertise.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
- Establish the vision for experiential projects that aligns with the company’s desire to be delightfully unique and differentiated at everything we touch.
- Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to challenge conventional thinking and create net new brand experiences.
- Champion the role of Experience Design as a strategic discipline within the organization.
Design Innovation:
- Lead the development of innovative and category-defining experiential projects for retail, hospitality, events, tradeshows and brand activations.
- Guide teams in exploring emerging cultural trends, technologies, and partnerships to inspire the design of groundbreaking immersive experiences.
- Maintain a deep understanding of consumer needs, market trends, culture, technology and competitive landscapes to inform our ideas and design decisions.
Collaboration and Execution:
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Architecture and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of design concepts into production.
- Advocate for design integrity and flawless user experience throughout the entire design process – from idea to launch.
- Act as a bridge between design and production to ensure that concepts are feasible and production ready.
Team Building & Management
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of designers, creating a collaborative and thriving creative culture.
- Identify and nurture talent, ensuring the team has the right mix of skills and experience.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in experiential design for brands, entertainment and/or museums.
- Proven track record of delivering innovative, commercially successful brand and immersive designs experiences.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, ideally in consumer-packaged goods or similar.

Compensation Range: $188,800.00 - $283,200.00, plus bonus.
