Summary

We are looking for a Senior Director, People Operations to help ensure the People team delivers on the priorities that matter most for the company. This role will serve as a central operator for the People team—bringing focus, momentum, and accountability to our most important initiatives. It will be the ultimate connector across people, ideas and actions. You will partner closely with the Chief People Officer and the People Leadership Team to keep our highest priority work moving forward. This includes coordinating key initiatives, building the operating rhythms of the People team, and ensuring we have the dashboards and KPIs needed to track progress and results. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a fast-moving, evolving environment and who is comfortable building processes and solutions when they don’t already exist.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include:

Drive Execution Across the People Team

  • Work closely with the Chief People Officer and People Leadership Team to ensure our most important initiatives are moving forward with pace and accountability
  • Track progress against key milestones and help remove roadblocks that slow execution
  • Ensure priorities stay clear and the team stays focused on what matters most

Operate as a Key Partner to the CPO

  • Act as an operational partner to the Chief People Officer to help keep the People team aligned and moving forward
  • Help coordinate leadership discussions, priorities, and follow-through on key decisions
  • Ensure alignment across the People team and with leaders across the business

Build the Operating Rhythm of the People Team

  • Establish and manage the operating cadence for the People organization (planning cycles, initiative tracking, quarterly business reviews, leadership meetings, etc.)
  • Create simple systems that increase clarity, accountability, and momentum across the team
  • Bring structure to complex and evolving priorities

Lead Program Management for Key Initiatives

  • Manage a small team of project/program managers responsible for coordinating high-impact People initiatives
  • Ensure major cross-functional efforts stay on track and deliver outcomes
  • Introduce practical program management practices that help the team execute more effectively

Partner with People Analytics

  • Work closely with our People Analytics partners to ensure we have the right dashboards and KPIs in place
  • Help ensure leaders have clear visibility into progress and organizational health
  • Use data to help the team stay focused on results

Drive Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with leaders across the company to ensure People initiatives are coordinated and moving forward
  • Help connect work across teams so priorities move faster and with less friction

Requirements

The requirements of this position include:

  • 15+ years of experience in senior People Operations, HR, program management, consulting, or operational leadership roles
  • Experience driving large, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
  • Strong organizational and program management skills
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and help teams stay aligned and accountable
  • Experience working with analytics teams to build dashboards, metrics, or reporting
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve
  • Enjoys building structure where it doesn’t yet exist
  • Has a strong bias for execution and follow-through
  • Is resourceful, proactive, and highly self-motivated
  • Brings a calm, steady presence when things get busy or complicated
  • Is comfortable working through ambiguity and charting a path forward
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.

The salary range for this full-time position is $178,500.00 - $280,500.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
