Summary
The Senior Facilities Manager will work closely with the Director, Facilities Management, to support all facility-related activities within the Office. They will look after all the required services that help the business or other departments to do their work.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Coordinate system repairs and manage quarterly inspections
- Ensure we are in compliance with our HVAC units within our space
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols of the building
- Maintain the efficiency and good working conditions of all our offices
- Assist the Director, Facilities Management in all aspects as required
- Provide support and back up to the Facilities Assistant as required
- Ensure all restrooms and pantry areas stay clean and stocked
- Manage the Cleaning Vendor and communicate with them as needed
- Manage Supplies for restrooms/meeting rooms/Pantry Area
- Set up, maintain all conference rooms
- Assist with Lunch set ups for the various departments if needed
- Manage the weekly lunches on Wednesday for all employees
- Participate in all aspects of special events when required
- Support and provide coaching to the Facility Assistant
- Maintain/manage Employee yogurt orders
- Support facility team with incoming mail/boxes
- Manage inventory and purchase of electrical and lighting supplies, office and janitorial supplies, kitchen equipment and appliances, office furniture, water filters, coffee, snacks, etc. necessary to run and maintain the facilities
- Manage Vendors for Site
- Proficient with SAP for all PO’s related to the office
- Allocate office space according to needs and maintain office seating chart
- Collaborating with building owners and upper Mgmt. on projects and budget for facilities requirements. Manage projects from beginning to end.
- Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly and wardens are trained. Documentation is kept current and provided to the Building Manager.
- Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other direct reports to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively
- Manages and review service contracts to ensure compliance (HVAC, Trash Disposal, Shredding, etc.)
- Conducts regular facility inspections
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate degree or a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience, with some years at a mangerial level.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
- Work independently and as a team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be attentive to detail and accuracy
- Effectively interact with peers and teams
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Responsibility for follow-up on various team projects.
- High organizational skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Build strong internal and external relationships using effective verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently without regular direct supervision and with safety in mind.
- Must be a provider of excellent customer service
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint

Compensation Range: $125,000.00 - $188,000.00, plus bonus.
