Summary

The Senior Project Manager Industrial Design will lead and coordinate all industrial design initiatives across Chobani and La Colombe, ensuring projects are executed on time at the highest quality.


This role partners with Industrial Designers, Packaging, Product Development, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external vendors to manage the full lifecycle of design projects, from briefing through concept, prototyping, production, and launch. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in industrial design project management, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Own end-to-end industrial design projects across Chobani and La Colombe, including new structural packaging design, hardware & equipment development, and limited environmental design
  • Engage in managing the complete product lifecycle from new product innovation to sustainment and end-of-life transition
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking for multiple concurrent projects
  • Ensure projects stay on track with briefing, budgets, resourcing, timelines, and quality standards
  • Identify risks or roadblocks early and implement solutions to keep projects moving forward


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the central point of contact for industrial design projects across both brands
  • Partner closely with Industrial Designers, Product Development, Creative, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external vendors to ensure alignment on creative vision, technical feasibility, and project timelines
  • Facilitate clear and proactive communication with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Support creative and product leadership in prioritizing initiatives and evaluating project feasibility


Vendor & Production Oversight

  • Manage relationships with external design studios, prototyping partners, suppliers, and manufacturers
  • Oversee technical specifications, prototypes, and final deliverables to ensure quality and functionality
  • Coordinate approvals and ensure all industrial design outputs meet brand standards and production requirements


Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and refine workflows, systems, and documentation for industrial design project management
  • Maintain visibility into project status, resource allocation, and potential risks
  • Drive efficiency and consistency across industrial design projects while maintaining high creative standards

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of project management experience, preferably in industrial design, packaging, or CPG product development
  • Proven ability to manage complex design projects from concept through production
  • Strong knowledge of industrial design processes, materials, prototyping, and manufacturing
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, Basecamp, Workfront, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused

The salary range for this full-time position is $121,000.00 - $190,300.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
