Summary

The Senior Project Manager Packaging will own the planning, execution, and delivery of all La Colombe packaging initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest brand standards.


This role partners closely with Design, Marketing, Supply Chain, and external vendors to streamline processes, manage timelines, and maintain quality across all packaging touchpoints. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, has deep experience in packaging project management, and is highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end packaging projects for La Colombe, including retail packaging, limited editions, seasonal launches, and co-brand initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking for multiple concurrent projects
  • Anticipate risks, identify bottlenecks, and proactively troubleshoot issues to keep projects on track
  • Track and manage budgets, costs, and vendor timelines

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all La Colombe packaging projects
  • Partner with Design, Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, and external vendors to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Facilitate clear communication and status updates across teams and stakeholders
  • Support creative leadership in evaluating feasibility and prioritizing initiatives

Vendor & Production Oversight

  • Manage relationships with external packaging vendors and co-packers
  • Ensure mechanicals, dielines, artwork, and proofs meet technical, regulatory, and brand standards
  • Coordinate approvals and ensure packaging is production-ready for print or manufacturing

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and refine processes and workflows for packaging project management
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, version control, and tracking systems
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce risk

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of project management experience, preferably in CPG or consumer packaged goods
  • Experience managing packaging projects from concept through production
  • Strong understanding of packaging types, dielines, print specifications, materials, and labeling requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with vendors, designers, and production partners
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet, Basecamp, Workfront, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused

The salary range for this full-time position is $121,000.00 - $190,300.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
