Summary

This position is responsible for debt management including high yield financing (loans and bonds), rating agency and bank relationships, cash and liquidity management and financial/insurance risk management.  The senior director is also responsible for sourcing talent and building finance team capability through training and mentoring 3 direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Lead leveraged loan and high yield bond transactions as well as annual renewal of AR trade facility; manage equipment financing facilities
  • Partner with Head of Investor Relations to conduct quarterly lender calls (including ad hoc requests for data); manage quarterly compliance requirements
  • Recommend target fixed rate debt vs. floating rate debt, identify derivative transactions to achieve targets and partner with accounting on hedge accounting process/needs
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, maintain fee vs. commitment model to ensure relationships are mutually beneficial
  • Support FP&A with forecast for consolidated interest expense and income Capital Structure analysis
  • Lead multi-year modeling of balance sheet and credit metrics, collect peer data and recommend target leverage and ratings
  • Lead development of annual S&P and Moody’s reviews; provide quarterly updates to agencies
  • Supervise 2 liquidity analysts for Chobani and La Colombe respectively to ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs
  • Develop investment strategy and instruments
  • Oversee cash flow forecasts from Australia and Mexico
  • Evaluate implementation of market risk system and treasury management system
  • Supervise insurance risk manager.  Manage collection, analysis, validation, and submission of risk exposure data, across all lines of coverage for annual renewals.
  • Lead assessments of operational risks, manage 3rd party service providers as needed, prepare cost/benefit analysis of risk mitigation actions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of total cost of risk (TCOR) and oversee the handling of Certificates of Insurance (COI).  

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA or CFA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience working in Corporate Treasury with debt capital markets experience required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and/or SAP a plus

Compensation Range: $196,800.00 - $295,200.00, plus bonus.
