Milk Processing Operator

Summary

The Milk Receiver’s responsibilities are to weigh-in and collect milk tanker samples for testing temperature and for inhibitors. Operate receiving bay equipment to unload/load raw ingredient.

Shift: C Shift 5:00 pm - 5:30 am

Responsibilities

• CIP raw milk silos and receiving line circuits as required; perform manual cleaning as necessary
• Complete all related documentation including CIP charts PMO requirements
• Check, fill and monitor CIP chemical tanks and CIP systems as necessary
• CIP training necessary
• Daily sanitation
• Load/ Unload raw milk tankers; complete documentation as required
• Load/ Unload cream milk tankers; complete documentation as required
• CIP all bulk tankers; perform manual cleaning as necessary
• Complete all related documentation including wash tag PMO requirements
• Oat Base Batching
• Sample all incoming raw milk tankers for the purpose of performing quality testing as necessary
• Review and maintain records pertaining to requirements for an Appendix N Drug Residue screening site as required by the dairy industry
• Milk Separation
• Allergan CIPs
   

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 or more years of food/dairy production experience preferred
• Attention to detail: quality and cleanliness are critical competencies for this position
• Possess strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Must have computer and basic math skills
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively with team members and outside contractors
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
