Summary

As the E-commerce Site Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing product performance, driving product marketing initiatives, optimizing website merchandising, and assisting in day-to-day product management. You will work closely with the Marketing, Product, Fulfillment and Data Teams to implement strategies that enhance the online shopping experience through product success to maximize conversion rate. 

Responsibilities

  • Product Analytics:
    • Analyze product performance data, including sales trends, customer behavior, and conversion metrics, to identify areas for optimization.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for product assortment, pricing strategies, and merchandising tactics based on data analysis.
    • Use A/B testing and other tools to optimize product pages, promotions, and overall user experience.
  • Website Merchandising:
    • Manage and optimize product placements, categories, and navigation to improve customer experience and drive sales.
    • Collaborate with the design and web development teams to ensure product pages are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for conversion.
    • Conduct regular audits of the website’s product listings to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information.
  • Product Marketing:
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and execute product marketing strategies online to promote new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and ongoing product assortment.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative Teams to create compelling product content, including copy, images, and promotional assets, that aligns with the brand's voice and engages customers.
    • Work with the Product and Fulfillment Teams to ensure product information, pricing, and promotional strategies are up to date and consistent across all platforms.
  • SEO Optimization & Performance Monitoring 
    • Manage the relationship with our SEO agency to optimize product descriptions, category pages, site structure and site content to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic. 
  • Product Management:
    • Assist with day-to-day product management tasks, including inventory tracking, order fulfillment coordination, and ensuring product availability.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., inventory, operations, and customer service) to manage product lifecycles and resolve any product-related issues.
       

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, product marketing, or online merchandising roles.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, website merchandising, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proficient in product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, Shopify, etc.) and able to derive insights from data.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, website optimization, and conversion rate optimization strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for e-commerce and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Compensation Range: $92,800.00 - $139,200.00, plus bonus.
