Summary

 

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the maintenance department inventory and documentation as well as CMMS management and asset purchasing. The coordinator will assist the Maintenance Department and Operations by providing direction and/or coordination of activities related to Maintenance associates and contractors engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, equipment, and maintenance of building, grounds, and utility systems. Fully supports operational teams.

Responsibilities

  •  Analyze data from CMMS for root cause projects.
  •  Upkeep and maintenance of the CMMS system.
  • Handle purchasing of supplies, equipment, and other maintenance items while adhering to budget requirements.
  • Maintain required records such as material usage, time, production, and other reports.
  •  Manage vendors and contracts in accordance with company procedures.
  •  Coordinate vendor requests.
  • Run work order reports and investigate aging open work orders on a regular basis.
  • Support maintenance Manager/Supervisor and technicians with administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Writing POs for equipment and materials
  • Cycle counting of critical spare parts.
  • Inventory and reordering for consumable production items.
  • Receive and put incoming materials away in the correct storeroom location.
  • Receive materials into the system for invoice processing.
  • Notify colleagues of requested items received.
  • Reconciliation of orders/charges.
  • Process Corrective Work Orders.
  • Process Preventative Maintenance (PM) Work Orders.
  • Update PM tasks and schedules using information supplied by technicians.
  • Random audit completed Corrective and PM work order.
  • Generate Daily. Weekly and Monthly reports.
  • Kit materials for upcoming jobs.
  • Spot check Tool inventory and inform management of missing items.

Requirements

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Communicate clearly and often with contractors, and the maintenance team.
  •  Microsoft office proficient
  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Physical Requirements:

  •   Ability to reach above shoulder level, climb, balance, kneel, bend over, etc.
  •   Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small objects, boxes, etc.
  •   Be physically active for 8 hours without becoming fatigued or out of breath.
  •   Stand for 8 hours a day.
  •   Frequently lift and or move 40+ pounds.
  •   Occasionally lift and or move 75+ pounds.

Compensation Range: $26.75 - $36.25
