JOB OVERVIEW: 

A Material Handler works with shipping/receiving & production teams to facilitate the efficient movement of inventory within our facilities. Independent of a forklift operator, the material handler uses pallet jacks and manual methods to keep departments stocked with necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations.  

Schedule: 11:00am-7:30pm

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform daily stage setup. 
  • Perform daily and weekly pallet wrapper inspection(s). 
  • Maintains accurate shipping records for hourly OEE (Operational Equipment Efficiency) dashboards.  
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. 
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Pallet Jack Certification. 
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrate abilities.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 
  • Ability to work in various temperature-controlled environments. 
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime.  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Must be able to abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).  
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background).

The salary range for this full-time position is $22.25 - $28.75, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
