Senior Manager, Business Analytics

Date: Mar 23, 2026

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Company: Chobani

Summary

The Senior Manager, Business Analytics owns the Wholesale forecasting and performance reporting engine and serves as a strategic partner to Wholesale leadership. This role blends advanced business analytics with commercial finance responsibilities, including AOP and budget support, monthly forecasting and reforecast governance, pricing and deal economics, and executive-ready performance storytelling. The role also supports an equipment loaning model through portfolio analytics and customer-level unit economics. This is a high-impact individual contributor role — the right candidate is equally comfortable doing detailed analytical work personally as they are influencing decisions and driving alignment at the leadership level.

Responsibilities

  • Wholesale forecasting and planning cadence
    • Own Wholesale demand planning and forecast governance across non-grocery channels (foodservice, hospitality, office coffee, and distributors)
    • Design, build, and maintain a dynamic forecasting model that consolidates key planning inputs into a single flexible tool, enabling self-serve scenario analysis and materially reducing the volume of recurring ad hoc analytical work each forecast cycle
    • Lead the monthly forecast and reforecast cadence, including building driver-based assumptions, soliciting forward-looking inputs from key accounts, and translating commercial activity into volume and financial outlooks
    • Maintain documentation, process guides, and training materials that standardize forecasting practices and improve adoption across stakeholders
  • AOP and budget support (commercial finance partnership)
    • Serve as a core contributor to the Wholesale Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budget process through modeling, templates, scenario analysis, and performance-to-plan tracking
    • Partner with Finance and Wholesale leaders on target setting, key assumptions, and ongoing forecast updates
    • Create clear visibility to performance drivers, including volume, price, mix, trade and program impacts, and cost-to-serve
  • Performance reporting and executive communication
    • Produce weekly and monthly Wholesale reporting and commentary for leadership rhythms, including weekly leadership updates, monthly operating reviews, and quarterly sales packages
    • Deliver concise narratives on actuals versus plan, forecast versus actuals, and outlook changes, with clear risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
    • Establish and govern Wholesale KPI standards — defining metrics, aligning definitions across Finance, Sales, and Operations, and ensuring consistent application across all reporting outputs and leadership communications
    • Serve as a key analytical contributor to the quarterly QBR process, delivering topline and profitability performance views that anchor the review discussion and inform forward-looking decisions
  • Commercial analytics (pricing, customer economics, deal support, equipment loaning)
    • Develop and maintain customer and channel profitability views, including contribution and margin analysis by customer, product, and program
    • Support pricing architecture work and annual price increase motions through scenario modeling and customer impact analysis
    • Own deal support tools and analytical models for key customer agreements, renewals, and exceptions — including trade and commercial program analysis (rebates, allowances, discounting) and confirmation of earned rebate obligations
    • Build analytics and reporting for the equipment loaning portfolio, including placements, removals, and portfolio health
    • Develop unit economics frameworks (payback, contribution impact, lifecycle cost-to-serve) to inform equipment investment and customer strategy
  • Business intelligence, dashboarding, master data
    • Build and maintain dashboards and self-serve reporting that serve as the single source of truth for Wholesale performance and operational health, including sales performance, customer retention, service levels, inventory constraints, pricing realization, and program performance
    • Improve data quality and reporting integrity through partnership with system owners and by implementing controls and validation checks
    • Own master data accuracy and integrity for Wholesale-related records in SAP, including product setup, customer and vendor maintenance, price updates, and blanket PO management — partnering with Operations and Finance to ensure data readiness supports reporting, planning, and commercial execution

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in business analytics, commercial finance, FP&A, revenue management, or business intelligence; Wholesale, CPG, food and beverage, or distribution experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience owning forecasting and planning cadences and building driver-based models that leaders can use to make decisions.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including pricing, profitability, scenario analysis, and deal economics.
  • Advanced Excel skills, experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar), and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred); SQL or data modeling experience a plus.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with a track record of producing leadership-ready presentations, reporting, and written narratives.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable narratives for both financial and commercial audiences.
  • Comfort operating as a hands-on individual contributor — building models, writing narratives, and maintaining systems personally — while driving alignment and process adoption across cross-functional partners.

Preferred experience

  • Experience navigating non-grocery Wholesale channels, including multi-tiered distribution structures, foodservice operator dynamics, national hospitality or hotel account management, or contract-based account structures.
  • Experience supporting trade spend and program measurement (rebates, allowances, discounting).
  • Experience with asset-backed customer programs (equipment placements or loaning structures) and lifecycle economics.
