Summary
As a member of the accounts payable team, this employee will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying data, and performing a review through the quality assurance process.
Responsibilities
- Process daily invoices into the ERP system for domestic and non-domestic suppliers
- Researching and providing instructions to PO creators
- Problem solving and trouble shooting multiple PO issues and providing direction for corrections
- Efficiently moving invoices through the procure to pay process
- Deliver training to new staff and provide training to existing staff on new tasks and responsibilities
- Matching all documentation related to invoices being processed (3-way match)
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately against relevant purchase orders and goods receipts
- Filing all necessary paperwork (electronically)
- Assist with weekly payment run and reporting as requested
- Review data entry of AP team members to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Maintain financial security by following internal accounting procedures
- Obtain and verify management approval per delegation of authority policy
- Investigate and follow up on urgent requests
- Maintain a professional rapport when interacting with employees and vendor contacts to complete work assigned
- Maintain company confidentiality
- Special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree strongly preferred
- 1 -2 years Accounts Payable related experience required
- Ability to work with confidential information to protect the security and integrity of the company
- Excellent support skills, ability to work well under pressure, professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to work in a high paced, high energy atmosphere.
- Ability to work effectively on a team
- Demonstrate thinking outside-the-box and be creative in problem solving.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word and MS Excel.

Compensation Range: $22.00 - $29.75, plus bonus.
