As the Director of Retail Sales & Execution, you will lead the retail sales strategy for your assigned division, ensuring the successful execution of our in-store presence. You will leverage strategic insights and operational expertise to enhance sales performance, foster strong customer relationships, and drive incremental business growth. Additionally, you will oversee a team of Retail Field Managers and Specialists, focusing on achieving team goals, developing talent, and contributing to Chobani’s overall company growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and pioneer innovative retail sales strategies to align with Chobani's long-term vision and brand ambition
- Identify emerging opportunities and develop strategies in which to capitalize, ensuring Chobani's sustained and propelled growth incorporating market trends, competitive analysis, consumer conversion, household penetration and customer insights
- Manage all aspects of retail operations, ensuring best in class execution and exceptional customer experiences with a continuous pursuit of excellence and challenging status quo
- Conduct rigorous audits of in-store execution driving consistency within the retail organization, identifying and addressing gaps in merchandising, void closures, share of shelf, pricing, demos, incremental displays, frequency, achieved sales target and promotion
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing retail sales team by cultivating consistency, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
- Leverage data-driven insights across KPIs that require the individual to maximize sales performance, distribution goals, enhance margin, frequency targets, route optimization, share of shelf, ACV, void closures, incremental displays, household penetration and market share
- Analyze, consolidate and present topline sales data findings to identify trends, opportunities, cross – functional enhancement and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with Field Managers, Shopper and Brand Marketing, Capabilities, CBU partners, Commercial team, Impact, People team, QA, Operations, Broker Management, Category Management, Finance, Customer Supply Chain, and Merchandising teams to develop innovative in-store activations and promotions while maintaining compliance and achieving shared objective
- Compile a cohesive state of the business on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual lens to manage up and siphon key detail to leadership, cascading R&O’s and a proactive perspective to mitigate current risks + future landscape to enhance strategic vision
- Other Duties as Assigned
Specialized Skills:
- Advanced syndicated data analytics and retail strategy experience
- Expertise in managing large-scale, multi-region retail operations
- Proven ability in change management and leading retail innovation
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or years of experience in combination with education.
- 10+ years of retail sales and operations experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership
- Previous and robust experience (5+ years) with national + regional + emerging channel retailers (CBU Connects)
- Strong leadership, forecasting, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage remote teams and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel up to 75%

Compensation Range: $144,000.00 - $216,000.00, plus bonus.
