The Regional Business Manager will drive our Away From Home business for assigned markets in the Eastern Zone. The RBM will manage a team and have individual contribution growth goals. Through joint planning, this role will establish in-field execution to influence key decision makers to maximize volume potential. The RBM will report to the Director of Sales, Restaurants.

Responsibilities

•    Responsible for managing and executing sales direct to regional foodservice chain operators. 
•    Focus on a targeted customer list of the top 500 chains while maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
•    Generate new business leads and build pipeline of new business to execute and drive sales.
•    Establish and maintain strong business relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the chain foodservice segment.
•    Co-develop and Execute Annual Operating Plan (AOP), measured by growth of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and effectively managing trade systems and dollars
•    Develop, plan, and implement strategic selling plans, qualify customer targets, achieve sales objectives including volume, profit and expense
•    Provide integrated customer, consumer, and competitor insights to the leadership team for customer strategy development, portfolio management and business plans
•    Regularly perform menu and operations analysis to quality and establish key areas of opportunity with present and new target accounts
•    Provide leadership to cross-functional teams building effective growth recommendations focused on the customer's needs and strategic priorities
•    Ensure planned programs are both effective and efficient and that partners deliver the required performance levels
•    Solid understanding of customer requirements, needs and trends
•    Ability to translate customer knowledge into effective sales strategies
•    Contract management and negation to secure mutual commitment of business terms and conditions
•    Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

•    Bachelor's degree required
•    3-5 years Foodservice sales experience
•    Strong and proven leadership qualities with cross-functional exposure / experience
•    Must be comfortable working with syndicated data
•    Track record of being highly customer focused, building and maintaining excellent relationships
•    Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint to demonstrate effective sales narrative.
•    Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
•    Willingness to travel 30-50%

Compensation Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00, plus bonus.
