Summary
The Regional Foodservice Manager covers regional Business & Industry (B&I), healthcare, and College & University (C&U) non-commercial accounts via Operating Company (OPCO) distributor partnerships and direct selling. The role builds and maintains relationships with regional concessionaire district leaders, regional Business & Industry (B&I) and Office Coffee Service (OCS) operators, regional healthcare systems, and premium direct College & University (C&U) accounts (including self-operated programs at leading institutions). This is a field-based role with a consistent field cadence — regular ride-alongs with distributor sales representatives and Territory Managers (TMs) are an operating standard.
Responsibilities
Regional Account Ownership
- Own regional Compass, Sodexo, and Aramark district leader relationships — coordinate with the Director, Compass/Sodexo/Aramark on enterprise pull-through.
- Build direct relationships with regional Business & Industry (B&I) and Office Coffee Service (OCS) operators across the assigned territory.
- Cover top regional healthcare systems and academic medical centers in the region.
- Own premium direct College & University (C&U) accounts in region, including top tier self-operated programs.
- Drive consistent new unit acquisition across all sub-segments.
Distributor and Operating Company Partnership
- Be the visible La Colombe presence inside regional foodservice distributor Operating Companies (OPCOs) — ride along with sales representatives, train them on La Colombe product, and design and deploy Sales Performance Incentive Fund (SPIFF) programs.
- Maintain a strong Operating Company (OPCO) relationship score on quarterly surveys.
- Sustain a weekly field cadence — minimum one ride-along per week with a Territory Manager (TM) or distributor sales representative.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Coordinate with the Director, Compass/Sodexo/Aramark on enterprise-level concessionaire programs.
- Partner with service operations on equipment installation pipelines in region.
- Coordinate with product and delivery system teams on on-tap product rollouts in region.
- Partner with field sales counterparts on overlapping property-level execution.
Reporting and Pipeline Discipline
- Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records daily after every meaningful customer interaction.
- Deliver consistent pipeline updates and forecasts to the Sr. Director, Foodservice.
- Contribute to Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and annual planning cycles with regional revenue, Joint Business Plan (JBP), and Operating Company (OPCO) scorecards.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
• 7+ years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Away From Home (AFH) or foodservice sales experience, with significant regional field-based selling time.
• Proven experience working with foodservice distributor Operating Companies (OPCOs).
• Direct experience with healthcare or premium College & University (C&U) self-operated selling motions.
• Comfort with a heavy field cadence and an operating standard that requires at least one ride-along per week.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) proficiency (HubSpot or equivalent) required.
• Existing regional Compass, Sodexo, or Aramark district relationships a plus.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
TRAVEL
50%+ within the assigned region.

The salary range for this full-time position is $82,500.00 - $129,800.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
