Summary

The Retail Sales & Execution Specialist serves as the primary store-level contact for the assigned territory, leading all in-store activity. This role is responsible for selling in, executing, and maintaining displays, incremental Points of Distribution (PODs), and home-shelf presence. The role ensures products are in stock and available throughout the store, secures and places supporting POS where appropriate, and submits standard shelf and display orders for DSD-supplied SKUs across all assigned stores. This role ensures all One Chobani items are highly available, properly merchandised, supported with the right POS, and executed consistently across all permanent and promotional locations.


 

Responsibilities

Long-Term Sales Drivers
  • Drive in-store presence through the placement, merchandising, and execution of permanent sales drivers, including displays, coolers, and secondary placements.
  • Merchandise and maintain all permanent and home-location displays to company standards.
  • Ensure product availability across all approved ambient and refrigerated placements throughout the store.
  • Maintain organized backroom inventory and adequate product supply.
  • Influence store ordering of warehouse-delivered SKUs and place incremental orders for DSD-delivered SKUs, as appropriate.
  • Build collaborative relationships with store personnel and key stakeholders to drive visibility, availability, and execution.

 

Short-Term Sales Drivers
  • Build, merchandise, and maintain all points of distribution (PODs) to maximize One Chobani visibility throughout the store.
  • Execute national, regional, and local promotional programs to established standards.
  • Secure and build incremental displays to support promotional activity and increase brand presence.
  • Use data and analytics to identify opportunities and develop compelling selling narratives.
  • Serve as a One Chobani brand ambassador with consumers, store personnel, and partner organizations.

 

Market Execution & Service
  • Conduct store audits as assigned and document market conditions, execution gaps, competitive activity, and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all approved One Chobani SKUs are in stock and available across all authorized locations within the store.
  • Place and manage orders with distribution partners, where applicable, to maintain optimal product availability.
  • Ensure all point-of-sale (POS) materials are present, visible, and properly maintained.
  • Execute daily and weekly store coverage to maintain permanent placements, PODs, and promotional displays.
  • Act as the primary store-level contact, responding quickly to issues and facilitating timely resolution.
  • Communicate execution barriers, inventory concerns, and business opportunities to the Sales Activator Manager and relevant field partners.
  • Maintain full ownership and accountability for execution standards and in-store conditions across the assigned territory.
  • Surface sales opportunities to CBU partners.
  • Identify and communicate in-field quality issues.
  • Deliver against the mission of making One Chobani the best-executed brand at retail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or years of experience in combination with education
  • Retail sales, field execution, DSD, merchandising, (grocery, beverage, dairy, or CPG) experience preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfort working independently in stores
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfort using mobile field tools
  • Ability to manage a structured route schedule
  • Ability to lift and build displays in store (30+ lbs)
  • Calendar Planning and Organization experience

The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000.00 - $70,000.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
