Chobani is seeking a strategic and highly driven Territory Sales Specialist to cover and grow our Independent Distribution network on the West coast. This role will focus on managing relationships with produce houses, local dairies, specialty beverage distributors, and other tier 2 tier 3 distribution. They will also be instrumental during large distribution activation activities including tradeshows, sales meetings, and various sampling events across the US. The ideal candidate excels at relationship management, strategic execution, and new business development. They are eager to learn, help, and thrive as a part of a team! This person will strengthen Chobani’s existing distributor assortment, identify and penetrate new independent distribution opportunities, and work cross-functionally with sales, forecasting, and supply chain teams to support item communication, stocking, and demand planning.
Responsibilities
• Manage and grow Chobani’s west independent distribution, including produce houses, local dairies, and specialty beverage distributors.
• Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to strengthen relationships, drive execution, and increase the SKU assortment within distribution.
• Identify, target, and onboard new independent distribution partners in strategic markets.
• Help with Broadline Distribution Tradeshows, Sampling Events, and Sales Meetings.
• Work cross-functionally with segment sales teams to communicate new items, pricing updates, and distribution priorities.
• Collaborate with demand planning and forecasting teams to ensure accurate volume projections and timely communication.
• Troubleshoot service issues with supply chain and operations to maintain consistent product availability.
• Track and report distributor performance, e-commerce metrics, inventory levels, and distribution gaps.
• Maintain updated product lists, digital assets, marketing materials, and compliance documentation for all partner distributors.
• Track sales performance metrics through CRM and provide regular reports and updates to management on progress towards goal.
• Utilize strong written and verbal communication with all stakeholders regarding customer, channel, industry insights and competitive trends.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in CPG, foodservice, or distribution sales. Independent distributor management strongly preferred.
• Experience working with or managing e-commerce listings, distributor digital catalogs, or online ordering platforms.
• Understanding of produce houses, specialty beverage distributors, and regional dairy/local DSD networks.
• Proven track record of developing and growing distributor relationships, including onboarding new partners.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales effectively
• Ownership Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and driving business growth.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and specifically Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

The salary range for this full-time position is $67,000.00 - $105,600.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
