Summary

This job description is to outline the role, responsibilities, general tasks and functions of the Aseptic Operator on what they do in their daily operations. This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product. 

Responsibilities

  • The Aseptic operator is responsible for anything and everything involving filling production and sanitation.
  • Aseptic operators work under the Production Supervisor. The aseptic operators are involved with the following and in this order: Safety, quality, production. They handle any issues involving light weights, yogurt flavor, loading of aseptic materials, machine breaks and delays, following changes in aseptic room procedures, staying in line with Chobani values, standard and culture.
  • Efficiently train on and operate the assigned machines.
  • Solve any production or machine down time issues as they arise.
  • Clean Production filling equipment in the aseptic room.
  • Complete tasks as needed and as indicated on Job Duties Worksheet (foam clean walls, floors, piping, electrical panels, control boxes, floor mats, etc.).
  • Complete other tasks as needed.
  • Fill out all required paperwork during their shift to include X-Ray, Control sheets, Pallet sheets, MDI boards and cleaning check lists for the lines they are working on.
  • Managing CIPs on Aseptics/A-Tanks (similar to KDB Op)
  • Must take CIP samples (similar to KDB Op)
  • Responsible for starting production on Aseptics/A-Tanks (similar to KDB Op)
  • Responsible for aseptic tank charts (similar to KDB)
  • Understand HMI monitors (Choscada) (similar to UHT Processing Op)
  • Understanding of full Aseptic process (nowhere else in the plant)
  • Responsible for JUMO recorder & Julian Date
  • Ability to cross train and learn other pieces of equipment.
  • Follow Chobani safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Problem solving.
  • GMPs.
  • Walking on wet floors.
  • Be able to lift 75 lbs, climb stairs, and work on feet for long periods of time.

Compensation Range: $23.25 - $29.75, plus bonus.
