CW Environmental Technician (Grade 03)- B Shift (6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, every other weekend required)

Summary

We are looking for an Environmental Technician who will join the Chobani family in our plant in Twin Falls, Idaho. You will perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a particular building.

Responsibilities

• Will be required to clean, sanitize, and inspect our processing areas in compliance with food safety regulations and audit standards
• Work independently with little supervision and with multiple chemicals
• Read and understand SOPs, and OPLs
• Operate buffer, floor scrubbers, foamer, and high-pressure hose
• Document all sanitation duties
• Responsible for Inspection (visual) of their own work
• Must be willing to work in different environment wet/dry

Requirements

• HS Diploma – GED and 1 year experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning solutions and janitorial equipment preferred
• Able to bend, stoop and reach
• Work with and around chemical cleaning compounds
• Lift and carry objects weighing up to approximately 35 lbs
• Operate powered equipment normally found in sanitation operations
• Organize work and follow cleaning schedules
• Follow GMP and Safety guidelines
