Summary

Chobani’s Product Development team both brings innovation to life as well as manages in-market platforms as they evolve and expand. From consumer-based research and product strategy through development, commercialization and implementation, PD shepherds’ products to the shelf and then works to optimize, expand and curate product platforms. 

This role is focused on the behind-the-scenes processes and the “last 10%” that supports implementation and launch project phases across all One Chobani platforms (Chobani and LaColombe). This position is heavily involved in SAP as it relates to item set up, UPC management, and other important and critical tasks.

Responsibilities

•    Finished Good and Material item setup within SAP
•    Manage and track UPC/GTIN assignments and changes
•    Support Workfront tasks as needed, including project creation, serving as a backup on RLC approvals
•    Lead the Commercialization & Change Management (CCM) weekly cross functional meeting, attended by dozens of cross functional partners, and manages every open project hitting our manufacturing locations, including product launches, discontinuations, and material changes (food and packaging)
•    Duties associated with CCM include timeline management, risk evaluations and mitigations, gaining cross functional alignment, and ensuring our partners across the organization are fully aligned and clear on expectations and deliverables
•    Support all steps of the commercialization process
•    Ability to anticipate and escalate possible delays in deliverables with corrective action plans
•    Manage the execution of all packaging updates as it relates to BOM updates and materials ordered
•    Help coordinate trials and other necessary in-plant activities related to launching new products and evolving existing
•    Ensure first ship dates are met for all new items
•    Support productivity and waste reduction efforts by driving alignment on runout plans that meet business needs and optimize costs
•    Optimize tools and processes to create the most efficient working environment
•    Clearly communicate status, updates and changes of all active projects to the cross functional team
•    Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

•    Associates Degree Required, Bachelors preferred
•    0-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment or project management
•    Self-motivated with effective project and time-management skills 
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Experience with SAP and Smartsheet a plus
•    Build trust and confidence by sharing information and providing feedback confidently
•    Strong written and verbal communications skills; able to effectively communicate cross-functionally and with your leadership
•    Ability to travel a few times per year
•    Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for food

The salary range for this full-time position is $$51,000.00 - $70,000.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
