Job Title:             Director of Manufacturing - Dairy

Location:             Twin Falls, ID

Summary: As a key member of the Twin Falls Leadership Team, the Director of Manufacturing will provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Dairy plant within Chobani’s Twin Falls, ID facility, the largest yogurt manufacturing facility in the world! The leader will have extensive experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, continuous improvement, driving business results and collaborative leadership to assure plant performance reaches established expectations. This role has the responsibility and the accountability of ensuring the highest level of safety and quality for Chobani’s employees and products.

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives. Drive initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing managers, supervisors, and frontline employees. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Operational Excellence: Find opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste elimination. Implement lean manufacturing principles and other standard processes to drive operational efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead and support cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects. Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency throughout the manufacturing organization.
• Planning: Collaborate closely with Chobani’s Sales & Operations Planning team to optimize responsiveness and timeliness to assure operational capacity matches customer demand
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and performance metrics to monitor key manufacturing KPIs. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure thorough quality control standards and procedures. Implement measures to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• GMPs: Follow Chobani’s safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
   

The requirements of this position include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years as a small to medium sized plant manager/leader in a manufacturing facility; experience in a fast paced, multi-sku product environment preferred.
• Willing to spend significant time on the production floor; interacting with employees at all levels.
• Experience leading or participating in a site transformation preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to optimally collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners.

 Compensation Range: $140,000.00 - $210,000.00, plus bonus.
