Summary
The People Team Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skillsets within the field that they are studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience
Responsibilities
- Assist in team building event development and planning
- Assist in new hire onboarding planning and phone screening activities
- Assist answering basic employee questions and directing employee to the correct HR contact
- Support digitalization and organization of employee files
- Administrative duties such as filing, and data entry.
- Assist with project work focusing on understanding turnover in a manufacturing environment
- Assist with project work around employee recognition programs in a manufacturing environment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Food Science, Business or related field
- Possesses interest in working food manufacturing
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills
- Students with a minimum of one year of major specific classes, preferred
- Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to loud, hot, cold, or wet environments
- Ability to sit, stand, walk and climb stairs for eight hours per day

Compensation Range: $25.00 - $27.00, plus bonus.
