Summary

The Senior Manager Talent Acquisition Specialist, Engineering & R&D is a high‑impact role responsible for leading recruitment strategy and execution across Chobani’s Engineering & R&D organizations. This role will partner closely with engineering, product development, and technical leadership teams to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across all levels of the business—from early‑career to senior technical leadership (Senior Director & below).
In addition to managing full‑cycle recruitment for priority roles, this position will build and maintain proactive, future‑focused talent pipelines that strengthen Chobani’s long‑term technical capabilities. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to engineering and R&D stakeholders, delivering data‑driven insights and ensuring a consistent, scalable, and high‑quality hiring experience.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, this role is an exciting, highly-visible role, responsible for process improvement and the overall results of the Talent Acquisition functions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition

  • Lead and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for Engineering and R&D roles across the company.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines, ensuring strong bench strength for critical and hard‑to‑fill technical roles.
  • Partner with senior engineering, R&D, and technical leaders to understand organizational needs, workforce planning priorities, and evolving skill requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, enabling effective hiring decisions, and aligning recruiting strategies with business objectives.

Recruitment Operations & Execution

  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment for engineering functions including Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Robotics, Process Engineering, Research & Development, Product Development, and other technical domains.
  • Source, engage, assess, and hire best‑in‑class engineering and technical talent.
  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies leveraging market intelligence, competitor mapping, and technical community outreach.
  • Drive consistency and efficiency across the engineering recruiting process, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

Branding, Partnerships & Pipelines

  • Strengthen Chobani’s employer brand within technical and engineering talent markets.
  • Build long‑term relationships with external partners including universities, professional associations, technical networks, and engineering communities.
  • Represent Chobani at relevant technical conferences, events, and recruitment forums.

Data, Process Optimization & Compliance

  • Utilize recruiting data and analytics to influence decision-making and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Optimize tools, processes, and workflows to support a scalable, tech-enabled recruiting function.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining appropriate documentation and controls throughout the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition with a focus on engineering, technical, or R&D recruiting in Food/Beverage/FMCG Manufacturing.
  • Proven experience building proactive engineering and technical talent pipelines.
  • Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships with senior leaders across technical functions.
  • Expertise with sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and modern recruiting technologies.
  • Experience in process improvement, project leadership, and data-driven recruiting strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple functions in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Ability to travel between 50-75% of the time if not able to relocate to Twin Falls, Idaho.

The salary range for this full-time position is $109,000.00 - $172,700.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
