Summary

The Wastewater Manager will provide oversight, management and direction to ensure continued compliant operation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant within SPDES permitted limits.

Responsibilities

  • Educate, mentor and coach staff to operate the waste water treatment plant per established parameters and applicable regulations
  • Ensure plant performance to meet regulations and permitted limits
  • Lead trouble shooting efforts and pro-actively plan system maintenance to prevent failures
  • Set schedules, monitor staff performance
  • Coordinate waste treatment plant operations with site production operations to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Assist with training all levels of employees to adhere to safety standards as required
  • Manage cost and schedule to meet goals
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Follow Chobani safety procedures
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in waste water, experience with Membrane Bio-reactor Aerobic treatment a plus
  • Strong knowledge of aerobic treatment plant operations is required
  • Experience with project and staff management using best in class methods
  • Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing experience is desired
  • Valid Idaho Waste Water Certification Class 2 or 3 preferred
  • Experience with predictive maintenance desired
  • Experience with digital controls and SCADA linked control and monitoring systems as well as predictive maintenance systems is desired

Compensation Range: $83,200.00 - $124,800.00, plus bonus.
