Summary
The Community Engagement Field Specialist is responsible for executing on-the-ground event and donation logistics for Chobani’s social impact team on a part-time basis (Wednesday-Friday; 24 hours/week). This person will be an enthusiastic, trustworthy, and reliable frontline representative for Chobani at key activations, including charitable food deliveries to nonprofit partners, fresh food distribution as part of a NYC-based impact project, and other impact events. The ideal candidate will be confident and comfortable representing Chobani internally and externally, serving in a brand ambassador-style role on behalf of Chobani’s social impact team, with the opportunity to grow across other impact projects.
This person must be comfortable driving a refrigerated van and comparable vehicles in a city setting. This role will be based in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating and executing end-to-end on food insecurity projects, events, and initiatives that advance Chobani’s impact priorities, including:
- Completing recurring deliveries of donated Chobani and La Colombe product to local nonprofit organizations in NYC
- Completing recurring fresh food delivery (2-4 days per month) as part of a multi-year NYC-based social impact project
- Coordinating on-site event activations (at Chobani or in the community), including set up and tear down in NYC and Central New York
- Ensuring excellent service and quality delivery
- Completing post-event evaluations
- Handle product donations at events and regularly within the community to meet community requests and needs
- Keep event vehicles and assets in working and presentable order
- Track, organize, and manage inventory of department equipment, supplies, and swag
- Perform various administrative functions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
- Build, elevate, and protect the image and reputation of Chobani brand
- Perform other duties as necessary
Requirements
- High school degree required
- Must have an active and valid drivers license with an excellent driving record
- 1+ year delivery or commercial driving experience, preferably with experience driving a sprinter van or comparable vehicle in New York City required
- 1+ years prior experience in field marketing, events, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs regularly
- Ability to load/unload vehicle independently
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to navigate stairs (i.e., if delivering to a walk-up apartment)
- Comfortable using a smartphone and GPS technology; experience using OnFleet or similar route optimization platform preferred
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and people skills
- Passion for food, beverage, wellness, and community connection.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must have access to a personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation to get to and from warehouse and/or events

The salary range for this part-time position is $24.25 - $28/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
