Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to support the management of our procurement function for Packaging, with an annual spend exceeding $450M. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with global business goals, emphasizing value creation, optimized supplier relationships, and ensuring business continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the Packaging Category, aligned with regional and global business goals.
  • Support the design, management, and execution of sourcing processes, including RFx events, negotiations, contracts, and supplier management.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Factories, Materials Planning, Fulfillment, Quality) to understand needs and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to establish short and long-term business objectives, identifying, developing, and managing strategic business relationships.
  • Continuously monitor and measure procurement effectiveness, identifying improvement opportunities through industry best practices and data analysis.
  • Assess supplier agreements, negotiate on behalf of the company, leveraging corporate buying power for optimal terms.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, manage procurement execution process, and resolve issues for smooth supply continuity.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and excellence within the procurement team, staying current with the latest technologies and trends.
  • Drive aggressive productivity goals, creating a pipeline of projects.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the end-to-end sourcing process.
  • Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing strategies, implementing protocols for effectiveness and efficiency of strategic initiatives.
  • Anticipate key supplier problems, resolve issues, and develop business continuity plans for supply.
  • Evaluate vendor quality of service, mediate disputes, and escalate issues.
  • Manage quarterly/annual pricing uploads into SAP.
  • Publish monthly supplier KPI’s.
  • Manage and own data integrity within SAP.
  • Support monthly PPV analysis and reporting.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.  
  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing, relationship management, contract negotiation, and project management, ideally within Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Financial / analytical acumen and project management.

The salary range for this full-time position is $94,000.00 - $147,950.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
