Summary

As a Continuous Improvement Intern you will lead a project to improve one of our manufacturing areas. This work will deepen our use of La Colombe & Chobani’s principles and you will create/update our training materials on that subject. 

Responsibilities

•    Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
•    As a Continuous Improvement Intern you will lead a project to improve one of our model areas
•    This work will deepen our use of LC principles and you will create/update our training materials on that subject
•    You'll have opportunities to speak up, solve problems, influence others, and be an owner every day as you..
•    Attains on-the-job work experience that is aligned with career objectives
•    Participates in cross-functional teamwork to complete Intern Project
•    Performs additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business objectives
•    Performs tasks related to the degree program as assigned by the work team leader

Requirements

•    Knowledge of Continuous Improvement
•    Creative and critical thinking skills
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Effective time management skills
•    Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing
•    Enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university, and able to provide transcripts on request
•    You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program
•    Must have satisfactorily completed basic coursework in the chosen degree program
•    Must be authorized to work in the United States
•    Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations

Compensation Range: $24.00 - $26.00, plus bonus.
